NTA JEE Mains Session 1 : Eligibility criteria


  • Candidates must have passed Class 12 or an equivalent examination in 2025 or 2026, or be appearing in Class 12 in 2027.

  • Candidates must meet the required subject criteria for the selected paper: B.E./B.Tech, B.Arch or B.Planning.

  • There is no age limit for appearing in JEE Main 2027.

  • Candidates must fulfil the admission eligibility criteria of the relevant institution.

  • There is no minimum Class 12 percentage requirement just to appear for JEE Main; however, separate marks criteria may apply for admission to participating institutes.

  • Candidates must complete the online application form and submit the required documents and application fee.
